Regular Exams & Checkups

During your regular exam, we will:

  • Check for any problems that you may not see or feel
  • Look for cavities or any other signs of tooth decay
  • Inspect your teeth and gums for gingivitis and signs of periodontal disease
  • Provide a thorough teeth cleaning.
    • Fillings
    Traditional dental restoratives, or fillings, may include gold, porcelain, and composite. Newer dental fillings include ceramic and plastic compounds that mimic the appearance of natural teeth.
    Bonding
    Bonding is a conservative way to repair slightly chipped, discolored, or crooked teeth. During dental bonding, a white filling is placed on your tooth to improve its appearance. The filling “bonds” with your tooth, and because it can come in a variety of tooth-colored shades, it will closely match the appearance of your natural teeth.
    Braces & Orthodontics
    Your smile is an investment in yourself, and stays with you throughout your life. Braces are an excellent way to address teeth that appear crooked or are “jammed” together, as well as improve your confidence and how you feel when smiling.
    Crowns & Bridges
    crowns are used as a “cap” placed over a damaged or weak tooth (usually due to decay) and/or to restore a tooth to its proper size. Caps improve appearance, and can be used to cover discolored teeth.
    A dental bridge is a fixed (non-removable) appliance and is an excellent way to replace missing teeth.There are several types of bridges. Porcelain fixed bridges are most popular because they resemble your natural teeth. This type of bridge consists of two crowns that go over two anchoring teeth (abutment teeth), filling the gap created by one or more missing teeth.
    Dentures & Partials
    Dentures are a removable placement for missing teeth. Complete dentures are required when all of the teeth are missing, and “partial” dentures are used when some of the original teeth are still present.
    Teeth Whitening
    Teeth whitening is an excellent smile enhancement option for people with otherwise healthy teeth and smile, but have “yellowed” or stained teeth (coffee, tea, etc.). Many types of whitening products and procedures are available.
    Veneers
